STOJKOW ARTS

- Creative Retreats -
ABOUT

ABOUT

A picturesque farm house in the lower Silesian region of Poland,  offering you the time and space you need to focus on your work.

Stojkow arts is run by Jessica Kettle, an illustrator and children's book writer, who lives on the family farm with her grandmother. The farm is registered through agrotourism and the retreats programme was set up in 2017 with the intention of providing affordably priced, creative retreats where guests can live, work and collaborate within a beautiful and refreshing, natural environment.

THINGS TO DO

Ladek Zdroj Spa

Neighbouring town, Ladek Zdroj, offers an extensive range of reasonably priced treatments, from hot stone massages to sulphur baths, at its various spas.

Old Moravia Lagoon

A picturesque and refreshing lake, just outside Stronie Slakie, offers a fun place to swim, play or just lie with a book and tan.

Snieznicki National Park

Including one of the highest mountains amongst the Sudetes peaks, Snieznik and curving along the Polish/Czech border, the area offers many opportunities for trecking, walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits.

Bear Cave

A popular tourist attraction, a short drive from the farm. A natural cave with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites and bones of bears.

Czarna Gora

A popular skiing slope in winter, a beautiful view point in the summer (with ski lift if you don't fancy the walk).

Go Ape

Offering a woodland obstacle course culminating in (allegedly) Europe's largest zip wire.

GUEST REVIEW

“Calm and peaceful setting in the heart of nature. Lovely area to get away from the world but still easily accessible. Beautiful handmade furnishings and wide open fields, gardens and forests all within walking distance. Would highly recommend.”
